News and Events
Spring, 2024
We are at capacity and gearing up for a fantastic couple of sessions (yes, it's true, we have to squeeze in all of camp in just two camp sessions). We're thrilled for fabulous programming (including Chef Jessica She Walks as a visiting expert) and providing campers choice. And a bit of free time!
Thanks to all those who came out and saw us at the Plant Give Aways at the Evanston, Lincoln Park and 61st Farmers Markets. It was a neat way to celebrate our 10th anniversary. :)

2023: Our ninth summer was a whirlwind! We're thankful to all the camp families and the staff for making it a success. Now, we're resting and reflecting.
Soon, it will be time to plan again because we think next year can be even better. Even as each summer is a bit different, our goals remain the same: creating an environment for kids to flourish. #NovelExperience. #OutdoorAdventures. #DigitalDetox. #SupportingGrowth. #LifeSkills. #AwesomeFood.

P.S. We love and support local farms and regenerative organic agriculture. Nature’s Farm Camp won the Golden Beet Award in the 2018 Community Food Project category, from the Illinois Stewardship Alliance.
SELECT MEDIA COVERAGE

Included here are a few sample MEDIA coverage we have received over the years: A piece titled “Fresh from the Farm” about camp in the Loyola Academy Magazine (page 4 & 5). Articles on camp and food in Good Food on Every Table and here. We were covered in a piece on Farm Camps in Chicago Crain’s Magazine and a guest post in the nationally acclaimed Fed Up with Lunch.

The Local Beet gave us a shout-out in the Good Food Fest Wrap-up and we were featured on WGN TV Mid-day News as well as WCPT radio and WGN radio. Note: for the WGN TV gig we borrowed a couple things from awesome Chicago friends, e.g. microgreens from local food innovator The Urban Canopy and the flat of mint from The Kilbourn Park Organic Greenhouse.
